The captain and deckhand are some of the best I have fished with anywhere”
“On these two fishing trips [Nov. 2000 & April 2001], my friend and I raised over 60 sailfish, hooking and releasing 18 sailfish. Again, the crew and captain on the boat were incredibly helpful and experienced.”
“The next morning we fished on [JD’s Watersports’] boat out of the Los Sueños marina. The info floating around the marina was of big schools of yellowfin tuna, with big dorado and sails to fill out the rest of the day. We got into a school of smaller yellowfin tuna and put eleven on the boat. It was fun because my wife had never landed a tuna before. We went outside looking for the dodos and hooked three fish up to 40 pounds. Again, my wife got her first dorado. We ended up the day with her hooking and landing a 90 pound sailfish. After that, she didn’t want to do anymore fishing and headed for the cold beer and Costa Rican rum. We had great sashimi that night and took a whole dorado to the restaurant and they cooked up half the fish for us and it was great!”
