Casa Mar is nestled within seven acres of tropical gardens. The main
lodge is homey and spacious with a fully-stocked indoor and outdoor
bar and recreation area. There are also 6 duplex cabins. The Lodge faces
a fresh water lagoon bordering Tortuguero Canal and is very close to
the Caribbean Sea.
Each cabin has twin beds with
private bathroom and showers, electricity and a ceiling fan. The rooms
are clean and comfortable, but nothing fancy. The lodge is designed
for fishermen.
