Our top choice in San Jose! Hotel Bougainvillea is in a quiet, residential neighborhood and features 10 acres of beautiful gardens, alovely pool, spotless rooms and impeccable service. This is truly an exceptional hotel for a very reasonable price. It's magnificent gardens were designed by a botanic genius who is one of the World's greatest authorities on bromeliads and orchids. It's hard to find, but we'll supply a map and written directions.
 
 


Hotel Bougainvillea's rooms are modern, ultra clean, with a spacious, airy feel to them. 2 queen beds, cable TV and a nice balcony off each room. We recommend the garden view rooms where you can sit on the patio and enjoy the truly amazing gardens.
 
 

Words alone cannot describe Bougainvillea's gardens! The frog pond is home to a species which only lay their eggs in a special type of moss with water cascading over it. Trails meander through exotic plants and bronze sculptures.
